#43 - Jacques Brel - A L'Olympia

A french chanson album, that's something new. And it was okay. I'm not a fan of the soft-sounding language, but in the context of these sad songs and Brel's voice it fits perfectly. It's a live album, but you only realize that between the songs when there's applause. He's just singing the songs, that are no hits, but they are nice, and the arrangements dominated by the typical french accordion work well for the melancholy songs.
