A soft country album with sad romantic songs. The title track is supposed to be well-known, but not to me, and it didn't stand out for me, either. The album as a whole sounds good, though, the pedal-steel guitar being responsible for the typical country, or, as often mentioned in the lyrics, honky-tonk sound. Towards the end I was beginning to ask myself how much more of those songs there would be. So it wasn't a bad album, but one with very little variety.

#34 - Ray Price - Night Life
