What a wonderful album! This is a simple singer/songwriter record with mainly a voice and a guitar and some tiny yet wonderful additions in form of a sweet female choir, an occasional wind, string or a mouth harp. The 10 songs are all wonderfully sweet and melancholy. The voice is very calm and pleasant, as is the guitar playing. But the songs are really beautiful and timeless, my personal highlights are "So long, Marianne" and "Suzanne".
