#115 - Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison

This is a live country album recorded in a prison in front of an audience filled with prisoners. Understandably it's mostly prison songs, but they don't sound too much like the generic country song, the lead guitar is not too twangy, and the atmoshpere is really dark thanks to Cash's voice. His full deep voice carried this album for me, he might as well have been one of the inmates jumping on stage and performing some songs. You just believe him when he sings.
