#125 - Simon & Garfunkel - Bookends

Another very beautiful album by Simon and Garfunkel. Their two voices together really sounds like a choir of angels. The known songs "Mrs. Robinson", "America" and "Hazy shade of winter" remain the best ones, but there are several others that are good, too. "Save the life of my child" suprises with synthesizer sounds, speech-like singing and a psychedelic re-emergence of "Sounds of silence" and "Voices of old people" is exactly that, just a bunch of recordings of some old people talking. Strangeness aside this is a beautiful album.
